FRUSTRATION - UPDATED

DEALING With FRUSTRATION -

---I think that many of us deal with frustration, much of the time. I, also, don't think that we are aware of this most of the time. In my own case, I didn't expect to be living in a hospital, at this age. In short, I expected to be doing something/anything else. In general, we seem to be a lot of frustrated beings who do many things out of this frustration that cause and keep each other frustrated.
---The best things I have found to do when I deal with this depression, is to do things that I like. Cheering someone up, works wonders. Talking with others is also a great way to take the pressure off. Using our creative abilities is a good mood changer.
---Frustration is a large issue, and one we ALL deal with, usually on a daily basis. It doesn't matter if you are ''have'' or ''have not,'' staff or resident. Frustration seems to be looming somewhere. Learning to deal with those things that frustrate us, seems like a good strategy.
---It always take two to tango, so I suggest we look at those who frustrate us as well as at those who we frustrate. In this way we are realistic in are viewpoint. The next time you feel frustrated - look at why you feel frustrated AND at why you have allowed another person's behavior to frustrate you. Also, peek at what else you may like to be doing, instead of what you are doing. These are different ways we get to know ourselves better, and that helps any/every situation we may find ourselves in. Take Care.
